Money Transfer through Axis Bank RTGS / NEFT Method
Axis Bank customers can use RTGS and NEFT both online or offline. In the online process, the customer has to use RTGS and NEFT by visiting the Axis Bank official portal of the bank or through the mobile app. Whereas in the offline process, customers have to apply by filling out the Axis Bank RTGS / NEFT Form.
RTGS/NEFT is operated by RBI, so there are some guidelines for transferring money from one bank to another.

1.) NEFT – (NATIONAL ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER)
National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) is the transfer of money from one bank account to another bank account through batches. There is no limit on the minimum or maximum amount that can be transferred through NEFT as per RBI guidelines.
You can now access NEFT round the clock as ordered by RBI. However, the bank (Axis Bank) can set its own maximum limit for money transfers through NEFT mode.
Through NEFT, Axis Bank customers can transfer money offline or online in a matter of moments. Whereas in the offline process, bank customers have to apply by filling the Axis Bank NEFT form.
2.) RTGS – (Real-time gross settlement)
Real-time gross settlement (RTGS) means that funds are transferred instantly in real-time. Through RTGS, customers can transfer an amount of at least Rs 2 lakh or more.
As per RBI guidelines, the use of RTGS mode has been made operational for 24 hours for bank customers.
